Q: : “Anxiety” tackles a deeply personal theme with incredible honesty. What specific mindset or moment sparked the creation of this track?
JULES: Honestly I came up with this concept when I was sitting in a waiting room for an appointment that I was particularly anxious about. I remember telling myself that “anxiety” is just a lie. Then, as any songwriter does, I started brainstorming with this idea of what anxiety tells me and what if “anxiety” was personified as an ex? What would they say, what would they do? And that’s what sparked it.
