ARTIST INTERVIEW:

“All I Have” Terra Renae

Q: “All I Have” is vulnerable, eclectic, and powerful. What was your creative process in making this album?

TERRA RENAE: The creative process for this album began with a collection of concepts I developed before collaborating with any co-writers. The idea actually stemmed from a conversation with Macy Gray. In the months leading up to our writing sessions, she encouraged me to start jotting down lyrics and storylines I wanted to include on my debut album. So I did exactly that, writing down every topic and personal experience I wanted to explore, not just for my own healing, but for the listeners too. It was really important to me that this project felt authentic and aligned with my message. During our sessions, we created a variety of musical compositions and wrote to the ones that best evoked the emotions tied to those pre-written storylines.
